In a viral TikTok video, one former driver for FedEx boasted how he refused to deliver packages to customers who flew certain flags in their yards. The driver, 39-year-old Vincent Paterno, made it his personal mission to not meet out the deliveries to homes that showed their support of President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, or the Black Lives Matter movement.

The video, which Paterno uploaded to the Chinese-created social media platform, was recorded while he was in uniform inside a FedEx delivery truck and was posted online on September 16, 2021. The video is filled with curses and other foul language that cannot be published in full below.

“What’s up TikTok,” Paterno says. “Just wanted to come on here and let all you know, if you don’t have a flag in front of your house, and if you have a Joe Biden, Kamala f***ing camel toe posted up in front of your house, Black Lives Matter — I will not deliver your s**t.”

The driver, who refused to serve customers that advertised their liberal agenda, went on to admit that he refuses to do his job whenever he sees someone flying a flag he doesn’t like on their property.

“I will not deliver your s***,” he said, solidifying his position against Biden and Harris. “I will bring that back to the station, and I will keep doing that s***. Have a good day.”

Although Paterno was able to accumulate a lot of views thanks to the Chinese platform, he also drew the attention of FedEx leaders, who were outraged that he bragged about not doing his job.

A spokesperson for FedEx spoke to TooFab about the incident and how they were going to respond to Paterno’s behavior.

“We are appalled by the behavior depicted in this video, which does not reflect the views of FedEx,” the spokesperson said. “This individual is no longer providing service on behalf of the company.”

Paterno retaliated by turning the camera upon himself again to create another video for the Chinese social media platform. In this follow-up video, he explained that he was not fired because he was already planning to leave his place of employment later this month. He even showed a text message that he sent on September 13, 2021, explaining how he wanted to quit working for FedEx.

Although Paterno thought he was slick by failing to deliver packages to their rightful owners, he could face criminal charges. According to 18 US Code 1708, it is a punishable crime to obstruct the delivery of mail. That’s why some people on TikTok are urging Paterno to watch out as law enforcement investigators could be descending upon him in short order.

One person tagged the FBI when they wrote, “this man just admitted to withholding mail over political beliefs.”

Another posted: “That’s literally a crime?”

Others pointed out that Paterno could have put customers’ lives in danger because many people rely on FedEx to deliver their medication and other crucial supplies.

“Some people get medicine delivered, including lifesaving medicine or medical devices. You could be hurting people,” one person wrote.

Another added: “I want a felony charge and jail time. People get medicine delivered to them. I want him arrested.”
